Summary
We are a partnership in event
photography situated in Brighton. Although this is where the business will be
based, we will target many different areas for an increase in clients.
Everyone needs photographs to
capture the special moments in their lives; having a photograph will last
forever. The business will cover events such as awards, conferences, dinners,
exhibitions, networking, parties, PR events, production, and openings. We offer
not only our photography service, but also video and stop motion. This will be
very effective and popular at parties and outdoor evening events.
While nearly everyone has a
camera to take snapshots, people do need professional quality photos,
especially when they will be shown to an important audience or want to cherish
a special moment. The Internet has also developed, making it easy to share or
publish their photos for wide viewing. This will be exceptionally useful when
it comes to word-of-mouth marketing.

I have done some research on
other businesses like mine and came across Rob Petherick. Rob is a commercial
photographer, events photographer and portrait photographer in Brighton &

Owner’s
Background
I want to run my own business
because of how much independence and flexibility it gives you. You can control
your own destiny and find the perfect life and work balance that suits you
personally. The ability to challenge
myself and get things done quickly whilst connecting with clients, appeals to
me the most in the work place.
Previously, I have worked in
Marks&Spencer’s and Greggs. Both of these involved teamwork and independent
work. I have gained many skills from working amongst the public such as
confidence, customer skills, communication skills, and money handling. I also
have skills with different design software’s such as Illustrator, Photoshop and
InDesign.
I have also worked as a
Promoter for Rough Hill Portsmouth. My job was to get people to the events and
help with the event organisation. During this job, I became very confident
because I had to talk to new people all the time and get myself known amongst
the right audience. I had also used many creative skills to get the target
audience’s attention.
My hobbies and interests
consist of socialising with friends and being creative. I’m an active,
out-going, sociable person and always enjoy doing something different and
meeting new people.
Products
and Services
We provide a variety of
products to please our audience with. From photo booths to a professional
photographer or video, the services are always correctly provided. Our photo
booths are a fun feature to be included in events for parties or even informal
dinners. You can hire them out for an evening and we will provide you with
props and will place the booth in the event in advance, this is so that
everything is set up correctly and securely.
For many other events, a more
sensible service would be the professional photographer alongside the
cameraman. This would then be edited and burned onto a CD, which you would then
be able to keep for free and show to other people. This service is a good idea
for charity events or meetings, to keep record of it and spread the word.

Our target market can range
from international companies, to people simply hosting events. The age range of
the market is 20-40 because we cater to both mature events and huge parties. We
like to try and provide our services to a range of people and increase our
clients.
